Service
Data Platform Engineering
Ingestion, storage, transformation and serving built as one governed platform, with lineage and access policy designed in.

When this fits
Your analytics and operational systems define the same thing differently, or you cannot trace a figure back to its source.
What the work covers
- The data path from ingestion through storage, transformation and serving as one design.
- Schema controls and revisioned transformation logic.
- Lineage from source to each downstream figure.
- Access policy enforced by the platform design, not by convention.
What you receive
- The platform, its transformation code and its tests.
- A lineage record for each agreed downstream dataset.
- Operating procedures, backup and restore steps.
How completion is decided
The agreed datasets are rebuilt from source and compared with the figures the customer already trusts; every difference is explained or corrected.
What you provide
- Access to source systems and the people who know their meaning.
- A decision on which datasets matter first.
- Permission to use real data for testing.
What RJV does not promise
- A fixed price or duration before the scope is known.
- Regulatory approval or a certificate; the customer remains the regulated party.
- That source data is accurate; the platform shows where a figure came from, not whether the source was right.
How to start
Describe the problem on the Work with Us page. Every engagement follows the stages on the engineering page, and the commercial terms explain what determines scope and how the work is charged. Ownership at handover is described in deployment and ownership.
Discuss this service
Tell us the outcome you need, the systems involved and the conditions for acceptance. Agree the scope, responsibilities and price before work begins.
