When this fits

You are considering AI for a public service and need to know what must be in place before a decision can rely on it.

What the work covers

  • The task, the data and the decision it would inform.
  • Assessment of data protection, fairness and accountability.
  • Required human oversight and the route to challenge a decision.

What you receive

  • A written readiness assessment.
  • The controls required before use, and who owns each.

How completion is decided

The assessment is reviewed with your information governance lead and the decision owner, and is complete when the required controls are agreed.

What you provide

  • The task owner, your information governance lead and sample data.

What RJV does not promise

  • A fixed price or duration before the scope is known.
  • Regulatory approval or a certificate; the customer remains the regulated party.
  • That a decision may lawfully be automated.

How to start

Describe the problem on the Work with Us page. Every engagement follows the stages on the engineering page, and the commercial terms explain what determines scope and how the work is charged. Ownership at handover is described in deployment and ownership.

Discuss this service

Tell us the outcome you need, the systems involved and the conditions for acceptance. Agree the scope, responsibilities and price before work begins.
